Benefits of solar Blankets

Prevention of Evaporation
It prevents evaporation and minimizes replacement water. With the severe drought that has hit South Africa, a solar blanket is a must as it reduces water evaporation – sometimes by up to 50%.
Interestingly, water evaporation is also the largest cause of heat (energy) loss, so a solar blanket will simultaneously keep your pool water a few degrees warmer too.
Money Saver
It will save you money. As the name suggests, a solar blanket collects the UV rays from the sun and transfers it to your swimming pool. Obviously, the sunnier it is, the more heat your pool collects.
